This isn't just another visual novel built around static poses and scripted dialogue.

House Trained is a fully-animated 3D adult game where you move through your landlady's house, interact with her in real time, and say WHATEVER YOU WANT to her.

It's also based on My Friend's Family, a series of erotica books I wrote during COVID. The written word wasn't enough to convey these characters though, so House Trained is my attempt to bring that world to life.

THE PLOT

A few months ago, Audrey McCarthy survived a car accident that completely reset her ability to communicate, forcing her to relearn how to respond to people.

This vulnerable, voluptuous vixen is also struggling to make ends meet. With bills piling up, and her regular boarders gone, Audrey has opened one of her spare rooms to a new tenant.

TEACH AUDREY

You can interact with Audrey using free-form text input. Instead of choosing from a handful of scripted dialogue options, you decide what to say.

If you say something she doesn't understand, she'll let you know. You can then tell Audrey to learn how to respond for next time.

Whatever ends up in Audrey's Learn Queue, I personally craft responses that fit her character and the story. Whenever she hears the same phrase in a future version of the game, she knows how to respond.

This is what makes House Trained different.

No random nonsense. No character suddenly forgetting who she is. No chatbot who says "That's inappropriate. Let's talk about something else."

You teach Audrey. Audrey gets better. And the game grows with her.

THE WORLD OF MY FRIEND'S FAMILY

House Trained takes place in the world of the My Friend's Family series, with Audrey McCarthy at the center of it.

The books are where these characters began. The game is where you get to interact with them.

And you don't need to read the books to play House Trained. The game stands on its own, but readers of the series will recognize locations, characters, and pieces of their history as the world expands.

As Audrey's story progresses and she becomes capable of handling more interactions, other characters from the series, including Chloe and Keira, will eventually make their way back into the McCarthy house.

Their return will depend on where the story takes us, how Audrey's communication develops, and how much the game has grown by the time they're ready to step back through the front door.
